Create Your Own Bonsai Courses

Usually held on the last Saturday of the month with a few exceptions.

These courses are suitable for beginners or for people who have some experience growing bonsai. You may bring one tree to work on or buy a starter tree and pot at the nursery on the day of the course.  Your purchases can be made according to your budget, starter trees range from R45, pots from R30 and wire from R20.  Participants will go home with a bonsai that they have designed, pruned, wired and potted themselves.  The Course starts promptly at 09h30 and runs for approximately 3-4 hours.  Cost R460, registration is essential as numbers are limited. Register here https://bishopsfordbonsai.co.za/wp/product/create-your-own-bonsai-course/

Sadly Covid-19 interfered with our courses and workshops and if you are reluctant to join an in-person gathering, we sell a 96 page Manual based on our 52 years of experience which is comprehensive and all of the information covered on our course is in the manual.

It is Spring potting time, if you need help with repotting this is for you. Workshop hosted for the Cape Bonsai Kai.  Visitors welcome.
