We regularly hold courses, please have a look at our website for further dates.

These courses are suitable for beginners or for people who have some experience growing bonsai. You may bring one tree to work on or buy a starter tree and pot at the nursery on the day of the course. The Course starts promptly at 09h30. It is advisable to arrive early to allow time for you to buy a STARTER TREE, WIRE AND POT if you wish.  Your purchases can be made according to your budget, starter trees range from R25, pots from R15 and wire from R15.

  

The cost of the course is R290 per person. INCLUDED IN THE COST IS EXPERT TUITION, SOIL, GRAVEL AND MESH.

The program includes three aspects of bonsai, namely;

HORTICULTURAL,        TECHNICAL,               ARTISTIC

You need to bring: Tools, secateurs, trimming scissors, wire cutters, pencil and paper if you wish to take notes. Tools, starter trees and pots are for sale at the nursery.

We only run the courses if we have a minimum number of six participants but our courses are usually fully booked so don't leave booking until the last minute.
