We have been growing Baobabs in Cape Town for the past 20 years.

Due to lack of high temperatures in summer they do not develop as fast as in the tropics. In summer they require daily watering and fortnightly feeding with Hortisol.  In winter they need to be protected, in their pots from rain and should not be watered at all.

Bishopsford Bonsai Nursery has a range of bonsai Baobabs from R100,00 to R2000,00 and Baobab bonsai starters at R295,00 in stock.
